Currently Reading: Marvellously Simple - Twitter

Twitter LogoI am a fan of most things Web 2.0, to me Web 2.0s definition is making the everyday users web experience simple, coming primarily from design. When I’m not working and just browsing and stumble on to a site offering a service, I can sometimes be put off by the complexity of it. I know myself it probably isn’t, but I simply can’t be bothered. I have subscribed to a few Social Bookmark sites, Flickr even (yet to upload an image, though), I love Wordpress and Typo, but nothing prepared me for Twitter.

Twitter is probably the easiest app I have ever subscribed to, and most definetly the most convenient. I have used Project Management tools in the past to keep clients up to date, for larger projects these probably are better, but I am now going to use Twitter.
I will recommend it to my clients.

Twitters Tagline is: “Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?.
That sums it up. You can submit a Tweet on the Twitter Homepage, or from your Mobile Phone, or, like me within Wordpress, using Twitter Tools 10b3 an excellent plugin by Alex King. You can see in the sidebar my latest Tweets, using the Plugin.

I couldn’t agree more, I’ve made many great new friends on Twitter - and have built up a huge network thanks to this great tool!

are you still a twitter fan? Did you know you can privatize your profile, so folks can only follow you if you approve them? Very useful for business.
