Helps with branding that it is similar, but I do agree with moby that the layout and avatar look a bit redundant.On the other side of that though is the fact that you would like your avatar to make you easily identifiable to people who are following you and may not physically visit your twitter page.Overall it's very "Specky" :D I think it looks very minimal, cool. Perhaps I would make your Web address stand out more, the blue on blue isn't quite working but then again, its not click-able and people would click on your right hand side to visit your website. Simplicity is the key sometimes and not a bunch of "crap" going on. At least you didn't use some sort of grunge type style like just about everyone else is doing these days.
