What is Awwwards?

Awwwards are the awards that recognize and promote the talent and effort of the best developers, designers and web agencies in the world.
They are an international jury made up of some of the most important designers, bloggers and internet agencies, which evaluates each site by means of a strict system of evaluation; scoring it on a scale of 1 to 10 for its Design, Creativity, Usability and Content.

The Prize!

We have 25 of digital copies of Awwwards: The best 365 css websites around the world to give away to our readers.
It is a printed book of the best CSS, Xhtml and Javascript websites of all the winning websites from 2010. You will see great portfolios, high levels of creativity, and impressive and innovative uses of code. This is the first edition and it is a “must have” book for web design inspiration.

How to Enter:

All you have to do for a chance of winning is to follow Awwwards on Facebook and also leave a comment below telling us your favorite web design from the last few months. Remember we have 25 to giveaway, so get your comment in quickly.

This competition will run for the next 7 days (ending on the 10th of June 2011) and our 25 random winners will be notified via email within 2-3 days of the competition ending.

    Recently I came accross a norwegian digital agency called Unfold – http://unfold.no/ – The site looks to use HTML5 and parallax when scrolling. It also impressed me with the little touches like their map at the bottom. Just an all round great design. Only problem is that it runs a little slow (or maybe that’s just my computer!?)

    I found this site like a week before it was listed on Awwwards. It’s amazing use of parallax to create 3d planes is amazing. The website really felt like it had depth!
