All about Usertesting.com

Ever wonder what your website users really think? Are your designs easy to use and intuitive? Usertesting.com’s remote usability testing answers these questions and more as everyday people visit your sites, perform tasks and record their thoughts.

In as little as one hour you can have impartial feedback on any website (including mobile sites and apps) that can be used over and over again. The tester is given a set of instructions to follow and questions to answer and you can even ask follow up questions after the test is over.

Some Ways To Use Usability Tests

Test a competitor’s site

Ever wonder what your users think of the competition? Conduct Usertesting.com tests on any website, including another company’s. Then take that information and improve your own site.

Show a client how their website really works—and pinpoint where it doesn’t

Have you worked on a site that needed major changes, but you had trouble convincing the stakeholders to buy in? Run a usability test to show what impartial people think of their interface. Nothing motivates a team like watching a website visitor gets lost or frustrated.

Compare before and after

Clients often question whether a redesign is an improvement. Measure the impact with usability test videos of real people using their site before and after.

The Details

This competition will run for the next seven days ending on the 30th of October 2011. All you have to do to either leave a comment below or tweet (using @usertesting) your creative idea.

Best of luck to everyone:)

Hey, great site.  Currently working on a project where users create profiles and have virtual closets where they can put clothing they own and create outfits.  Their friends can browse though their closet and recommend outfits.  You can shop for new clothing and see what clothes look like with current clothing items that you own.  Its called uCloset, check out our blog now http://blog.ucloset.com!
