Rotating Web Page Elements Using The CSS3 Rotate Transform

With CSS3, you can rotate Web page elements by a specified number of degrees, clockwise or anti-clockwise. With a small amount of HTML and JavaScript code in conjunction with CSS declarations, you can also animate these rotations. In this tutorial we will work through the process of rotating an image element by varying amounts as well as animating the function, initiating the rotation on user interaction with the page.

How To: Add Custom Styles to the WordPress Visual Post Editor

In this example we will be adding a Styles drop down menu to TinyMCE, then we will add a purple button to it, and another element for writing tag lines. At WPlift we use that purple button to highlight links to external sites and downloads. So I thought it would be fun learning how it can be added to TinyMCE.

When coding the design into the browser I often use Google Fonts, this gives me a vast array of fonts to choose from, all of which are also free to use and download!
