Showcase of HTML5-Powered Sites

HTML5 brings clear improvements to the web today, the World Wide Web Consortium, W3C, specifically stresses that HTML5 is still in testing stages, and is scheduled to reach “Recommendation” stage (i.e. “release”), in 2014. Despite this, many developers have taken advantage of HTML5, as we’re about to see.

Nice sites, and nice list. Kind of a bummer when looking at their source(s), though. HTML 5 is present (almost entirely as just header/section/footer tags), but it’s all padded with plenty of XHTML to make it work. One of the reasons why I just don’t deploy with HTML5 yet. I guess the question is…is the level of semantics you get with a dash of HTML5 so great that the div overload you use to make it work in not-so-new browsers not a detriment to said semantics?

  • High quality html 5 powered site. You can check webtacular for getting content management program. Easy to use all features. Just check it out.
