Currently reading: Top 40 Free Icon Resources for Web Designers (Updated) - Speckyboy

This is a complete revision of a previous article (Top 25 Free Icon Resources for Web Designers) I wrote a while back.
Some links have died, so they have been removed, others have been added (recommended by a few comments and a lot of emails).

Fam Fam Fam and Brand Spanking New are still number 1 & 2, the rest have changed with 15 new entries.

If anyone knows of any excellent Web Design Icons leave a comment with the link, and let everyone know about. (Or an email is fine).

Wow, great list! Some links in there that I had never heard of. Thanks for listing my set. To be listed at #5 in your opinion ahead of some of the other great resources is an honor.

Well thank ya. I appreciate that. Hopefully one of these days I’ll get some time to update them and add a little more a long with sharpening and improving the existing ones (like I did with the flags).

    See ya around

I just created an IconKit and figured you’d be interested in it.
There aren’t many right now, but I plan on adding more - hopefully in the next few weeks.
