The Azure Hut (WordPress Theme)

Azure Hut LogoFor this theme I wanted to break away from my usual style and come up with something different. The idea was to have a split page, with clearly defined content and navigational areas.

On the left-side we have the navigation (azure blue area), on the right (white) the content. As it turned out it was quite simple to do, the actual css was a breeze, the css to work in Internet Explorer was a different story.

As with all my themes, if your looking to learn about WordPress Theme Design, this would be another perfect design to start with.

Screenshot and Details

Azure Hut ScreenshotThis theme has two columns, use of the header is minimal (only contains the logo) and the sidebar is widget friendly.

The social bookmarks within the post-info area bar have been hard coded into the theme, no need for plugins.

It has been tested on Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox and Opera, and displays great.

Tested on WP 1.5 (does anyone still use this) upto WP 2.3.

Within in the download package there are .psd files for the logo and sidebar titles.

Download

Download The Azure Hut Zip.

How to Install

1. Download the Zip.
