But since we didn’t make the top 10 portion, I will consider our website an utter failure — without a glimmer of hope. I will now slowly walk back to our website with my head held low.

Inspiring for sure. Elysium Burns is really cool.
I am really loving large typography right now. I just love it. I need to do a poll on around if ppl like photoblogs with large pictures or if they have difficulty viewing on smaller res screens.
Great collection and I like the icons at the bottom!

I would be interested in what features of these designs make them stand out. As beginner at this I would like to get a feel for what works in a good design.
