    Wow, that’s a pretty good challenge !

I think I would use this cards to promote my self-business to others.

    Then, why not ?

I just want to make VIP cards for me… has to distribute to somes Girls…

    It’s so bling bling xD

  • Spellsmith

I would use them for pulling off my best James Bond impersonation:

I enter the hotel and flash some gold at the checkin to score some VIP treament. At the bar, I display it proudly: a great conversation starter (and sure to attract the ladies). Later, when I spot my secret spy target, I can slip the card into my pocket and then use it to jimmy open the lock to my target’s private room.

Using my fine-point alcohol marker, I copy the secret data onto the back of my card. It’s handier and less likely to break than a digital camera, after all. Plus, everyone suspects your camera. No one suspects your business card/credit card.

The card also handles self-defense, of course. (What is James Bond without unusual weapons?) If I’m followed, I can shine a flashlight on the gold/silver card and use the resulting glare to blind my enemies!

It’s not just a card: it’s an all-in-one Secret Agent toolkit.

  • Stefan Jovanovic

I am a photographer and I would use these cards as business cards.

  • http://www.enigma-interactive.co.uk Si Forster

I’d use the cards to market viagra for sale on the street. I’d include a 2.5 inch rular with the slogan… “wish you could reach further than this buisness card?” written above it… I’d obviously not sell anyone viagra… but use the business card to mock my close friends.

  • webbografico

“I believe that I should commit myself to achieving the goal, before this competition is out, of landing on the WEB 2.0 and returning me safely to the Real World. No single Web Project in this period will be more impressive to mankind, or more important in the long-range exploration of Web; and none will be so difficult to accomplish…”

    Thanks to J.F. Kennedy.

  • Handrus

  • http://www.grahammcdonnell.co.uk Graham McDonnell

I would stick all of the cards together to build a scale model of the Trojan horse then use it to break into Apple HQ to get my hands on the new tablet.

Either that or use then for, y’know, businessey stuff??

Promoting of the harmful effects Botox. As you can obviously see here, it just doesn’t effect your skin but your brain as well. :/

On a more serious note, I would do what Julien said

  • http://funnypumpkin.wordpress.com/ Kathryn

I would love to use them as membership cards for Elon University’s visual arts organization, The Art Guild. We get the short end of the stick in terms of budget, location and promotion from the University. These seems like the perfect way to make members feel welcomed and also give them a discount at local art supply stores.

  • http://pablolarah.cl/ Pablo Lara H

I would use it to become a Ninja Rockstar Illustrator.

  • http://webedewe.com 8207h32

    Wait. That’s already been done.

I would just promote my business instead. I wonder if the “Your business card is crap” mogul would approve?

  • http://www.anchorboltstudios.com Giordany

I’d make my business cards look like credit cards, and have my phone number look like the account number. Then I’d wait and see people’s reactions.

  • http://www.i-media.lv Matiss Zarkevics

I would make an internet video of me giggling and swimming in these cards, while throwing them around like dollar bills and screaming “Yes, yes…” When the video goes viral, I will forever be known as “that creepy plastic card fetish guy”. And that, with the addition of “Web Designer”, is exactly what I’m going to print on these cards. I’ll be famous!

  • http://www.shootfirstmedia.co.uk/subbuteo Ric

Several years ago I began constructing my very own time-machine – In hope that I could one day travel back in time to all the big events in history.

I consulted my slightly eccentric Science teacher Dr. Brown on what I would need exactly. He quickly listed the parts needed as if he had predicted my question. He said I’d need a discontinued sports car which was run by an engineer with a history of drug trafficking charges, an alarm clock, some plutonium, a flux capacitor, a time circuit unit and around 250 metallic gold or silver plastic cards 30 mil thick which measures 3 3/8″ by 2 1/8″ with a 1/8″ diameter, like you get with credit cards.

Everything on the list was easy to get, until I came to the last part. Thankfully, my search has come to an end now I have seen this competition. Hopefully now I can go on my completely original adventure back to 1955 which hasn’t been attempted by anyone before ever…

  • Javier Jimenez

I would use them to place them in my bicycle spokes, I’m sure this plastic cards would generate a more realistic engine sound than the paper ones.

  • http://designvore.com designvore

  • adam

This cards is pimp my life.

  • http://blog.ajaxmasters.com Ciocanel Razvan

    Haha nice challenge.

I would use this cards for my website quizkings.com that is not launched yet. This website being the thing that messed my mind for the last year by making me think of ideas for it and ways to improve it.

So i think this thing would deserve some way of advertising. :)

  • http://purplecrayonwebstudio.com Mary Frab

I would use them as a “Gold Card” promotion – basically to include a free year of hosting with any design service.

  • http://purplecrayonwebstudio.com Mary Fran

I totally just spelled my name wrong before. oops!

  • Simpulton

I would stitch them together to make a modern day chain mail shirt. This would serve as a visual metaphor for the corporate warfare that we engage in on a daily basis.

I would then wear it always under my freshly starched shirt and tie and per chance something would go awry in a client meeting, it just may save my life. As I lay there with my chest throbbing but not bleeding, I will contemplate the immense layers of irony I have exacted on myself all because of a crazy card contest.

  • eLise

I would donate to a new elementary school that just opened. They have little $$ and don’t really have the $$ to start a new program they are trying to do which is to team up with supermarkets. Shop at these select supermarkets and a % of yr sale is give back to the school. A win win.

Very cool stylish cards!!! would be awesome to see them with their own lil gold cards.

    Great idea by the way!!!!!!

  • http://haungo.net Brandon

I’d use them for B.S. cards. I’ll explain: Whenever you’re listening to someone tell a story, and you think they’re full of sh!t, you simply take this snappy card out and present it to the BullSh!tter. The card would say something like:

“ALERT! The information you are presenting has been called out as BULLSH!T. Either you are simply NOT creditable, your story is completely unfathomable, or statements within are known to be untrue. YOU ARE NOW ORDERED TO CEASE AND DESIST, AS WE, THE PUBLIC, DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR YOUR BULLSH!T. Thank you. ”

That seems like a big enough waste of a perfectly good plastic card to me. :]

  • http://www.desbytree.com Ressa

I would either use them for self promotional purposes or perhaps make a home made solar collector.

  • André

    I would make a card´s castle

  • http://www.rentagreenbox.com spencer Brown

I was scratching my new beard ( it’s so itchy) and was thinking… hmm.. there’s got to be a better way to itch this messy mess on my face without looking like a crack addict. Then it dawned on me that I could use one of my recycled paper business cards… but it was too flimsy flamsy. Scratching away, I was waiting for the speckboy home page to load and whamo ” Free Plastic Short Run Cards”. Problem solved. I would use some of them- about 5 or so to scratch itchy beard and the others to promote my company rentagreenbox.com. Thank you and my beard thanks you as well.

  • J Reitano

These cards look perfect for my new venture:
    * they would be great for a repo man who has to defeat the lock on a cheap hotel room
    * they would be perfect to divvy up the tips after a long day brewing coffee (so you don’t get your fingers dirty)
    * it would be a useful tool for cutting a hamburger in half to share
    * they would make a nice distraction for prospective clients so they wouldn’t notice your tentacles
Oh, my new venture is to integrate all the aliens who have crash-landed on earth into society by getting them menial jobs. Thanks!

  • http://www.ryanhasawebsite.com ryan
