TN3 Gallery is a fully responsive image gallery which also comes available as a WordPress plugin. There’s a lite version available for free.

The Full Screen Image Gallery plugin is full screen image gallery that automatically scales the image with kept aspect ratio to fill the browser background. It comes packaged with a flickr search engine, thumbnails, captions, and with a preloader. It basically loads image links one by one and replaces it with a full screen image gallery and it scales the image using CSS only (with some JS for IE6).
Galleria is a very polished and professional image gallery . It loads the images one by one from an unordered list and displays thumbnails when each image is loaded. It will create thumbnails for you if you choose so, scaled or unscaled, centered and cropped inside a fixed thumbnail box defined by CSS.

This plugin is similar to the Full Screen Image Gallery above, with one major difference: You can use your own images rather than a Flickr image gallery. It resizes images to fill the window browser while maintaining the images dimension ratio, it will cycles preloaded images with transitions via the slideshow function, you can navigate through the images by using the pause/play and forward/back buttons.
Pikachoose has been designed to be easily installed and easy to setup, perfect for any non-tech-savvy blogger. It is a lightweight jQuery plugin that allows you to easily present your photos with further options for slideshows, navigation buttons, and auto play.
Space Gallery uses a fresh method for displaying a slideshow of images. When you click on the gallery it will, with a nice transition effect, rotate to the image behind. The gallery and its transitions can be easily customised with fairly extensive array of functions.
Galleriffic is a jQuery plugin that has been optimized to handle high volumes of photos while conserving bandwidth. This feature rich and easily customizable plugin is fairly easy to install and with its image pre-loading, thumbnail navigation (with pagination) and its integration with the jQuery.history plugin (supports bookmark-friendly URLs per-image) it has become very popular.
I love this gallery plugin. It is simple, yet powerful. It is a plugin that supports many transition efects, ir preloades the images, with cations and… hell, it can pretty much do everything you would want from an image gallery. Just have a look at the feature list.
This is not a plugin download, it is an image slider tutorial. Not your typical slider, it is a very cool, stylish and very professional, it would be perfect for any photographers web site. Just have a look at the demo to see what I mean.
GalleryView is a plugin that allows you to easily transform your image lists into beautiful galleries with Flash-like zoom effects in them. It’s a simple yet elegant way of giving your interfaces a nice little shine and at only 2KB in size, it’s both compact and surprisingly easy to use.
prettyPhoto is a jQuery based lightbox clone, that not only supports images, it also has support for videos, flash, YouTube and iFrames. The setup is easy and quick, plus the script is compatiblewith every major browser. It comes with useful APIs so that prettyPhoto can be launched from nearly anywhere (yes, even Flash).
The SlidingGallery plug-in will take a group of images and turn them into a cyclical gallery of images which the user can click through. One image will be centered on the screen, with two smaller images off to the sides. The user can click either of the smaller images to bring them to the center, or the center image to enlarge it. For optimal use, this plug-in should be applied to seven or more images, but can work with fewer (images will be duplicated in order to bring the total to seven).
FancyBox is a plugin for displaying images, HTML content and multi-media in a Mac-style "lightbox" that floats overtop of a web page. There is also a WP plugin called FancyBox for WordPress, which can be downloaded here: Fancybox for WordPress.
