TN3 Gallery is a fully responsive image gallery which also comes available as a WordPress plugin. There’s a lite version available for free.

Space Gallery uses a fresh method for displaying a slideshow of images. When you click on the gallery it will, with a nice transition effect, rotate to the image behind. The gallery and its transitions can be easily customised with fairly extensive array of functions.
Galleriffic is a jQuery plugin that has been optimized to handle high volumes of photos while conserving bandwidth. This feature rich and easily customizable plugin is fairly easy to install and with its image pre-loading, thumbnail navigation (with pagination) and its integration with the jQuery.history plugin (supports bookmark-friendly URLs per-image) it has become very popular.
I love this gallery plugin. It is simple, yet powerful. It is a plugin that supports many transition efects, ir preloades the images, with cations and… hell, it can pretty much do everything you would want from an image gallery. Just have a look at the feature list.

prettyPhoto is a jQuery based lightbox clone, that not only supports images, it also has support for videos, flash, YouTube and iFrames. The setup is easy and quick, plus the script is compatiblewith every major browser. It comes with useful APIs so that prettyPhoto can be launched from nearly anywhere (yes, even Flash).
The SlidingGallery plug-in will take a group of images and turn them into a cyclical gallery of images which the user can click through. One image will be centered on the screen, with two smaller images off to the sides. The user can click either of the smaller images to bring them to the center, or the center image to enlarge it. For optimal use, this plug-in should be applied to seven or more images, but can work with fewer (images will be duplicated in order to bring the total to seven).
