Thanks. Some while ago we wanted to create a ball with the world as a child surprise so I also went looking for the best map to print out to cover the ball.
I tried many flat maps but none really could be put on the ball without being the wrong scale or wrinkling continents.
If you ever find a print-out that can we wrapped around a ball to form the world that would be great, im still looking for it.

Don’t use the first one from Vectormap, it’s not accurate:
Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are missing (merged with China)
Georgia is missing (merged with Russia)
The Golan Plateau is shown as a separate country between Israel and Syria
Pakistani and Indian Kashmir are both merged into one separate country
