I love Drupal, It is a very powerful CMS that is easy to use and configure. Very little programming knowledge is needed, but will still accomplish so much.
If there is anyone that hasn’t used Drupal before, I would definetly recommend it, it is a major step up from WordPress.

Because WordPress is a still a strong platform for blogs and even magazine style website (i.e Mashable, Smashing Magazine).
Drupal is a strong platform, so he can use it for larger projects. I think WordPress is good enough for this website.
