Nice collection, maybe it’s time for me to open my eyes beyond the world of Netvibes.

    Thanks.

Great article… I have used these readers and I find that your research is very accurate. I would include every reader you have listed in the top 10.

BUT > I would re-order them. Having used them all, I would order them as such:

    1. Google Reader
    2. Pageflakes
    3. Fwicki
    4. Netvibes
    5. Yahoo!
    6. Rojo
    7. Newsgator
    8. Netscape
    9. Bloglines
    10.MySndicaat

As an avid RSS user, these are my preferences. You do have the overall list correct as far as I’m concerned. Great article… great site. Really glad I found it. In my fav’s now!

Have you looked at this RSS reader:

    http://www.pheedstorm.com

It looks fairly simple at first sight, but it’s actually really clever, as it learns about the articles you like so that it can show you similar articles in future.

I’ve been using it for a few days and I’m pretty impressed with it so far.

Google Reader is definitely the best. Just wrote an article about it on the Design Cubicle…

Does anyone know which of these web-based RSS readers will hook into a desktop app?

I’m trying to move away from NetNewsWire/NewsGator.

I’m not interested in browser-based services due to the browser part.
