I love Flash and I’m even a Flash game designer… but I hate Flash websites! I would much rather have html. Some of these tutorials have some nice designs in them, but I still just don’t enjoy Flash websites, unless they’re primarily about games or cartoons.

Hi, I really enjoyed you article about Flash and tutorials provided. I think it would be interesting to expand upon the idea of reviving flash…. but I think that Adobe themselves are trying to slowly retire it and replace it with AIR. The thing that seems to turn people off Flash is it’s use for full web sites and lack of solid SEO action. I try to promote the idea of Flash modules over anything else, but the tide does seem to trying against Flash. APPLE non-iphone thing does not help either.

A lot of these are just plain terrible. Almost all of these could be done using either pure HTML+CSS or a combination of HTML+CSS and a little Javascript.

And menus with sound? Sound? Websites are not supposed to make sound unless the user clicks some sort of Play button.

Great bunch of Flash Tutorials!! I would like to add “Interactivity of the flash can really impress the visitor but the heavy use of unnecessary animation and pluggins will kill the purpose of your website”.
