There’s also the wp-polls wordpress plugin which is a good free solution. I like it since you don’t need links back to another website.

  • TI673

Polltopia (http://www.polltopia.com) is the new polling site which is absolutely free. The site has capability to block multiple votes to produce accurate poll result. It has US State and World Map analytic further classified by Age and Gender. You can comment on Polls or share to Facebook and Twitter. Additionally there is a point system and based on your point you may have more features. It is easy and simple.

    Hope that would help.

I really love these kinds of pieces, and you’ve pulled together some
great free resources for the community here. I still have a question
that only you can answer, or me by testing each and every one of these,
which I’m hoping won’t be necessary:

I represent a board for a local non-profit: Canberra Ultimate
https://www.facebook.com/canberraultimate and our board just needs a
simple voting function widget to embed on our google sites internal
board website for every time we need to make a vote. It only needs to
ask 1-4 questions at a time (really we could get away with one) but it
has to show results as the votes happen (and here’s the most important
part) by board member. So, like yahoogroups, it needs to allow me
to make the setting so that when board treasurer A. Perry votes
yes or no, not only can I see yes or no, that I can see that A.
Perry voted yes/no. That way I know which board members to harass: I can
tell them, make sure you vote, you haven’t yet. It can even be a write
in vote (we have a very honest board, and the website is private to the
board, so I’m not too worried about gremlins or dastardly occurrences). Given all that, what do you think is best?

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’m looking for a specific type of poll that I can put into iWeb. I’m not sure any of these would work, but basically I’m looking for a set-up where someone visiting the site clicks on a picture and directly underneath, a counter adds up in real time every time someone clicks on the pic above. So no questions, no voting of any sort necessarily- just a picture I provide with a counting ticker underneath logging the count. Maybe it’s not a poll?! I’m fairly web design illiterate so any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
