A business card is the most important tool any designer (or businessman) should have. It delivers the brand of your company and, most importantly, it represents YOU as a creative professional. It gives your potential client a glimpse into who you are, what you can do and your level of professionalism. Lets be honest, high quality work and reasonable pricing do not always speak for its self, but professionalism always does. That is what a client is looking for, someone they can rely on, trust and ultimately deliver the project they require. That is what your business card must reflect.
Recent Playstation advertising has been described, by some circles, as being creative, effective and memorable. By others, down right controversial. In the beginning, the advertising for the original Playstation was reasonably conservative, and demonstrated with ease the product they were selling, without trying to shock or mind blow anyone. Nice and simple. With the arrival of the PS2, and perhaps realizing that the vast majority of the PS2 sales were for adults, the advertising took a downward turn into controversy that generally angered their targeted market. The trend has continued to a lesser extent with the PS3, were perhaps Sony took heed from the feedback of the PS2 advertising and toned down there aggressive and controversial style of advertising. After all, it is just a gaming console.

These are the three questions developers must ask themselves before they launch any app.

Whatever the ingredients of the fantasy scene are, the results are always the same, beautiful, mysterious and thought provoking. The real beauty is that it could be anything that your imagination can muster. Unlike natural imagination, having the skills and knowing the techniques to reflect your imagination on screen or in print needs work, it has to be taught.
